My name is Sarah Smith.
On March 11th, 2006, at the age of 14, I was diagnosed with Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes.
At first I cried because I had to give myself 8 to 10 shots of insulin every day.
I had to do this to control my blood sugar levels.
After 8 months, I got an insulin pump, but I still have to stick my finger 8 to 10 times a day.
Please join me, my family and my friends to help us find a cure for Diabetes!
